He had a deep fascination with semiotics and the history of languages, which greatly influenced his artistic style. Throughout his life, Roger explored the hidden meanings conveyed through art. He saw his paintings as a visual language, infused with symbols and metaphors that spoke to the complexities of human existence. His passion for semiotics and the history of languages fueled his exploration of the deeper significance behind his creations.
Tragically, Roger passed away in 2020, leaving behind a body of work that had remained largely unseen. However, two years later, in 2022, the Ludwig Schneider Foundation Gallery discovered his collection.
